Want to know what it takes to dress up Emily Maynard for The Bachelorette? More than $350,000, that’s what!
That’s the amount ABC set aside for this season’s wardrobe budget for The Bachelorette – just to doll up Ms. Maynard. And it still wasn’t enough!
“We had an enormous clothing budget,” Emily’s stylist, Cary Fetman, told InTouchWeekly. “It was bigger than any previous season … and we still went over!”
“Emily has fabulous taste and was involved in deciding what we would dress her in,” Cary added. “For me, it was almost like dressing a Barbie doll!”
So, what are some items that set the budget in arrears? Strappy $1,045 Christian Louboutin Straratata heels and a $4,000 nude Randi Rahm gown.
But there are some things that Maynard just won’t wear.
“Emily hates flats,” Cary explained. “She loves to be a girlie girl. She loves dresses and anything glitzy and sparkly.” And, “She is not a jeans girl by any means.”
