Jessica Sanchez is a big fan of American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. The Idol runner-up told reporters right after the finale: “I really think that Phillip deserves to win and I’m so happy for him…He has his funny side and his humble side and he’s just an amazing, original artist.”
Well, Ms. Sanchez, can’t we say the same about you? Having met you now on several occasions I can honestly say they don’t come any more funny or humble or talented than you do. Not to mention cute. Congrats!
Jessica was spotted at The Grove in Los Angeles the day after the Idol finale, telling Mario Lopez of Extra that right before Ryan Seacrest announced the winner, Jessica whispered in Phillip’s ear that he was going to win. Jessica also told Rolling Stone that she was not surprised that Phillips won. “Not at all – he has such a big fan base. We both do. We both thank our fans so much. But he’s a real “artist” artist. He always sounds like him. He sang so many different songs and always sounded like himself. I’m so proud of him, and I’m glad it was him,” Jessica said.
Well, I am proud of you and I wish you could have won as well.

yes, phillips has a big fanbase, but that’s because he’s hot, and not cause he sing pretty well. Jéssica should have won, because she’s awesome and the best singer, and she’s a sweety! But you know, 2º place in AI is much better than 1º. So congrats jessica! YOU WOOON!
I’m very proud of what Jessica accomplished on American Idol. She really made the fans and Filipinos everywhere proud. Even though she placed 2nd behind Phillip Phillips, she’s already on her way to have a fantastic career.
Phillip Phillips maybe the show winner, but Jessica Sanchez is the real winner of American Idol season 11. Jessica has a bigger fanbase worldwide than Phillip. She has made a lot more money than he has. He relies mostly on music royalties, whereas she makes money by any means she can get. Jessica is the best singer in American Idol history. Phillip is just another creative White guy with a guitar.
