Katherine Jenkins jokes that her wardrobe malfunction on Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars live performance show was due to “sabotage”. [VIDEO at bottom of page!]
Did you see it? During her trio dance, her leg was still stuck in a pair of pants that were supposed to be ripped off of her by professional dance partner Mark Ballas and Tristan MacManus. But something went really wrong.
Jenkins told ET: “It was a disaster. When the guys ripped my outfit off, it’s perfectly in half so I thought it had gone really smoothly, and then I look down and… I don’t even know how it’s worked that half a trouser leg is still there. It doesn’t make any sense. We think it was sabotaged.”
The 31-year-old Welsh opera singer admitted that she was rattled by the wardrobe malfunction but she and Ballas quickly managed to free her and make it all look like it was part of the act. “We carried on. I might have looked like I was in control but underneath I was screaming. I think we all were.”
Jenkins was not the only contestant to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. Professional dancer Chelsie Hightower also revealed that her dress had torn during her routine with Roshon Fegan. She said: “I was just dancing like crazy and I ripped my dress. I actually don’t know when it happened.”
Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas were recently spotted at The Grove for an interview with Extra. During the interview, Mark Ballas played guitar while Katherine sang. After the song was done, Katherine proudly planted a kiss on Mark Ballas. Enjoy the photos:
