Erica Rose is shown first on Bachelor Pad tonight, admitting she is happy because she dodged a bullet when she got a rose. But she still intends on making David’s life miserable. David says the superfans are weak and can survive only if they stick together.
The superfan twins Brittany and Erica are bickering with each other over some name calling. They yell. They cry. And now, they threaten to leave the show. Yes, that will show everyone! They finally calm down and make up. Jaclyn says the twins are dumb and reiterates that everyone wants them out of here.
Competition:
Chris Harrison comes to the house and tells everyone there are two roses up for grabs today in the competition: One for a man and one for a woman. Since the summer Olympics are happening, our contestants are going to participate in a rhythmic gymnastic routine. The two best performers will each get a rose. The worst two performers will each get a vote against them for elimination. They must llearn their routine in two hours.
Ashley Hebert, J.P. Rosenbaum and 2004 gymnastics Olympian Tasha Schweiger will do the judging. The men and women teams each perform and the men look more coordinated–even the judges said so. Erica Rose and Ed get the worst performances for their groups meaning they each get a vote for elimination cast against them.
Blakely and Michael win the competition and each get a rose which guarantees them safety this week.
Blakely and Chris drama:
Chris tells Jamie he wants to be her partner and they seal it with a kiss. He then tells Blakely that he wants to stay Blakely’s partner even though he told Jaime the same thing. Jamie walks in the bedroom and finds Chris and Blakely snuggling. Jamie was hurt and thinks it is unfair that Chris is doing this to her.
Dates:
Blakely and Michael can now take three people on a date each. A rose is on the line during each date. Erica says Michael can and should save her by taking her on a date and giving her the date rose. Michael says he has Erica’s back but he’s here to find love.
Michael takes Rachel, Lindzi and Donna on his date and the four go to Pomona where they see their names on the marquee. The foursome catch a concert and Donna tries to take all the time with Michael. Rachel manages to get a kiss in as a devastated Donna looks on.
Michael spends time with each lady on his date but his time with Rachel is all about kissing her. When with Donna, she shows him a picture she drew of him and the two kiss. At the end of the date, Rachel gets the rose because Michael feels he had the best connection with her.
Blakely takes Chris, Ed and David out on a date for a a soap box derby race. Ed wins the race and Chris is thrilled happy David came in last because he is a superfan.
David takes Blakely aside and tells her if she has his back, he will have hers until the end. Blakely gives the date rose to Chris even though she has doubts that he is into her.
Back in the house:
Eventually, the twins get into an SUV and leave and the whole house is happy. So, the men do not need to eliminate a woman tonight.
WHO IS ELIMINATED AND GOES HOME?
Ryan, the 32-year-old virgin is eliminated tonight and goes home.
The twins were so annoying and I for one am glad they left the show. I am sure they would have been voted off anyways this round, but maybe they knew that and decided to leave willingly. This morning I watched this episode using the AutoHop feature on the Hopper. It allowed me time to get ready before heading to work at Dish since it skips over the commercials for me. I never get a chance to watch it live so having the PrimeTime Anytime record it automatically for me helps out a lot. This episode was a lot funnier than usual with them having to ribbon dance. The boys looked to pretty in their outfits.
