Sylvester Stallone spoke for the first time about losing his son Sage Stallone on “Good Morning America” Tuesday. Sage died last month at his Los Angeles home at the age of 36 and the cause of death is still unknown.
Appearing with his “Expendables 2” co-stars, Stallone opened up to Cecilia Vega, “It’s tough. It’s very tough… it’s a horrible situation.” Stallone added, “Time, hopefully, will heal, and you try to get through it, but it’s just something. It’s a reality of life. I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral.”
“The Expendables 2,” which also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme, hits theaters this Friday.
