In season 8 of Dancing with the Stars, Gilles Marini and his then partner, Cheryl Burke came in second place. On tonight’s premiere episode of the All stars season, Marini and his new partner Peta Murgatroyd came in second again, this time to Cheryl and her season 15 partner, Emmitt Smith, by the slimmest of margins.

With a total score of 24/30, Gilles and Peta steamed up the dance floor with the sexiest Foxtrot known to man, executed perfectly to Michael Buble’s “Call Me Irresponsible.” Carrie Ann Inaba’s first words to Gilles? “I’ve missed you!” She then called the dance “poetic” and “gorgeous”.
