LIVE SHOW RECAP:
James finds out on a web chat with his wife that his father has stage four cancer. James decides to continue with the race. James & Abba are the first team to depart. First task is to find a market which sells sells eggplant.
Per the clue, the teams have to them find a ferry and get to a Roadblock which is build a scale to balance wood and stones. James & Abba finish first and get their next clue which is a Detour: Chose between Straw Dogs where teams have to untangle straw and run it through a machine or Bamboo Dogs which will require teams collect bamboo and load them on a vehicle and drive themselves to a local construction site.
James & Abba do the Bamboo Dogs and are way ahead of everyone else. James & Abba are team number one at the Pit Stop and win a trip for two to Malaysia’s rain forest.
Josh & Brent are the last team left at the Roadblock still and are very frustrated–they’re now even facing new issue of dehydration.

James & Jaymes forgot some bamboos and have to go back and get them before they can check in.

6th: James & Jaymes
7th: Josh & Brent are the last team to arrive but this is a non-elimination leg!
Josh & Brent were the last team to arrive at The Pit Stop. But, this is a non-elimination leg and they get to race again! NO ONE is eliminated tonight!
I felt so bad for the Chipps when they had to go back for a measly 3 bamboo rods, but it was great to see how they kept their spirits up and just did what they needed to. They are not the smartest team, but I think that if they focus a bit more they would be better than most of the other teams. I nearly missed the show because I was working late at DISH last night, but thankfully my Hopper recorded it for Primetime Anytime. Having it record everything on primetime on the four major networks is such a lifesaver sometimes. I am glad that I caught it because the challenges were really good because they were not only hard, but also did a great job at representing the local culture.
