Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel pulled one over the media – the duo who were rumored to get married this weekend beat every one to the punch and got hitched today.
“It’s great to be married!” the couple said in a statement issued in Italy. “The ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.”
The longtime-couple’s wedding took place at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the southern Italian city of Fasano. Celeb guests included Andy Samberg, Jimmy Fallon, Timbaland, ‘N Sync alum Chris Kirkpatrick and Jessica’s 7th Heaven co-star Beverley Mitchell.
The celebrations actually started Wednesday when Justin and Jessica, along with their family and friends, spent the day at the beach, enjoying fireworks and live music.
On Thursday night, the lovebirds hosted a pre-wedding party around open fires and dined on fresh-made cheeses, olives and wine. And of course, the wedding ceremony took place today.
