What we already knew: Kellan Lutz is hot.
What we just found out: Kellen Lutz does not want to be just another pretty face and he vows to win an Oscar. Some day.
The Twilight actor told DuJour: “I want to act for the rest of my life. I’ll win an Oscar one day, but I’m in no rush to get there. I don’t care if that takes me 50 years, and I’m old. I just love what I do.”
Here are some more excerpts from the interview from the man who plays Edward Cullen’s big bro Emmett in the Twilight franchise:
The final installment of the Twilight franchise: “It really is bittersweet. It’s very much like high school…and I’m ready to graduate.”
His love for creativity: “It’s interesting to see how you mix two chemicals together and heat starts forming. I even made some polyurethane! It’s great because acting has given me the resources and platform to help charities but also the money to create my inventions and pay for the patent process. Attorneys aren’t cheap!”
You can catch Lutz’ next Oscar-worthy gig in Breaking Dawn Part 2, which hits theaters November 16.
