LeAnn Rimes recently got out of rehab after entering the facility to deal with bullying-related “stress and anxiety” issues. The singer is now lending her star power to help others experiencing the same struggles.

On Monday, The “How Do I Live” singer took to Twitter to post a photo of herself with a butterfly tattoo drawn on her left wrist. This act expresses support for an anti-bullying campaign, The Butterfly Project.

Along with the photo Rimes tweeted, “I’ve been reading about so many bully inflicted deaths. I wanted to show my support.” LeAnn also included a link to The Butterfly Project, a blog which provides a support forum for victims of bullying.

The blog encourages open communication in the hopes that people who want to cut or hurt themselves can instead find support and healing in sharing of their pain and struggles with each other. “When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker or pen and draw a butterfly on wherever the self-harm occurs. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.”
