Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars cast member Melissa Rycroft has been injured after suffering a fall. She was rushed to an L.A. hospital Sunday to check out a head and neck injury which took place during rehearsals.
Rycroft’s rep confirmed: “Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined.
“She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani. Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time.”
Melissa has since been released from the hospital and Tweeted, “Been a long (and tough week) of Tango… but back to attack again today. Sometimes nothing motivates you like frustration…”
Injuries on DWTS are not uncommon, but Melissa’s partner is hoping that the former reality star’s trip to the emergency room is not more serious. Dovolani Tweeted, “Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft. We don’t know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers.”
Reportedly, Rycroft took the fall while performing camera blocking for Monday’s group number. There is no confirmation yet on whether Melissa will perform tonight but per her own Tweet, sounds like the show will go on if Melissa has anything to do with it!
