The Voice airs a brand new episode tonight October 15, 2012 as the competition starts Battle Round Part 3.

LIVE SHOW RECAP:

TEAM BLAKE- First battle of the night is between Julio Castillo and Terisa Griffin. Michael Bublé is helping Blake get his artists ready. The duo are singing ‘Conga’ by Gloria Estefan. After the performance, Christina is speechless and says she is “still processing”, so she refrains from commenting. Cee Lo found the performance cool. He likes the soul in Terisa’s voice. Adam is also speechless–saying it was odd, but good. Blake chooses to keep Julio.  Cee Lo steaks Terisa.

TEAM CHRISTINA- Dez Duran and Paulina duke it out on Bruno Mars’ ‘Just the Way You Are’. After the performance, Cee Lo calls Dez the winner.  Adam says they both have great qualities but both did an inconsistent job though he also picks Dez as the winner. Blake thinks that Dez has come a long way since trying out last year. But thinks Paulina’s character would jump out more from the radio. Yet he also picks Dez as winner. Christina chooses Dez. Paulina is eliminated.

TEAM CEE LO- Nicholas David and Todd Kessler duel with Hall & Oates’ ‘She’s Gone’. Adam calls it “awesome” and thinks their voices sound amazing together. Blake likes Todd’s voice, calling him one of the best singers in the competition. He then compares Nicholas to Jesus. Christina loves Nicholas because he has a unique quality and a lot of “swag”. Cee Lo decides to keep Nicholas and Todd is eliminated.

TEAM ADAM – Benji and Sam James fight it out on Team Adam on Bon Jovi’s ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’. After the performance, Blake says that Sam stays in his zone and  Benji has a bigger range. Christina says that Sam has an “Adam Levine thing” going on with his voice which immediately caught her eye. But she picks Benji because she’s “down for some yellin’ and screamin'”. Cee Lo agrees. Adam chooses to keep Sam. Benji is eliminated. 

TEAM BLAKE ROUND 2 – Lelia Broussard and Suzanna Choffel duke it out on Team Blake. They will be singing ‘Dog Days Are Over’ by Florence + The Machine. Christina said it was “really beautiful” and adds Suzanna has a “special” voice. She also praises Lelia’s falsetto. Cee Lo doesn’t think Lelia ever really “took off”.  Adam says he messed up not fighting for Christina in audition round. He says Lelia is really powerful too. Blake chooses to keep Suzanna. Leila is eliminated.

TEAM CHRISTINA ROUND 2- Joselyn Rivera and Sylvia Yacoub go head to head on Team Christina on Beyoncé’s ‘Best Thing I Never Had’. Cee Lo likes both and can’t pick. Adam says they’re both “gnarly good singers” but says he’d pick Joselyn. Blake they have two different approaches as artists but for his taste, “the smile melted him” so he also picks Joselyn. Cee  Lo then said for the record, he’d pick Sylvia. Christina chooses Sylvia. Joselyn is eliminated. But, wait! Adam and Blake went for the steal! Joselyn chose to join

WHO IS ELIMINATED:

Team Blake: Terisa Griffin –But Cee Lo steals her for his team. Blake also eliminates Lelia Broussard.

Team Adam: Benji

Team Cee Lo: Todd Kessler

Team Christina: Paulina and Joselyn Rivera –except Adam stole Joselyn, so, she gets a second chance.

WHO ADVANCES:

Team Blake: Julio Castillo and Suzanna Choffel

Team Adam: Sam James

Team Cee Lo: Nicholas David

Team Christina: Dez Duran and Sylvia Yacoub

WHO IS STOLEN!

Cee Lo steals Terisa Griffin. Adam steals Joselyn Rivera.
