LIVE SHOW RECAP:
TEAM BLAKE- First up, Liz Davis and Nicole Johnson will battle it out on Miranda Lambert’s ‘Baggage Claim’. Christina is entertained by their duel and says both women have great voices. Cee Lo likes Nicole and Adam says they sound very alike but still thinks Nicole won. Blake seems underwhelmed by both of them. Blake keeps Liz and Nicole is eliminated.
TEAM CHRISTINA- They don’t show the full duel but we see Christina pairing Laura Vivas and Beat Frequency. Christina picked Laura and Beat Frequency is eliminated.
TEAM CEE LO- Cee Lo pairs off Emily Earle and Mackenzie Bourg on ‘Good Time’ by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen. After the live performance, Adam thinks the energy was “uncomfortable” and picks Emily as the winner. Blake says Mackenzie has a good ear but doing too many breaks and sounds squeaky and gimmicky. Blake loves Emily’s “authentic country voice” and picks her as winner. Christina had more fun watching Mackenzie. Cee Lo picks Mackenzie as the winner. Emily is eliminated.
TEAM ADAM – Alessandra Garcio and Kayla Nevarez go head to head on Katy Perry’s ‘Wide Awake’. Blake likes Alessandra’s “raspy, gravelly sound” but also praises Kayla for her sweet vibrato. He and Christina think it’s too close to call as to who won. Cee Lo loves Kayla’s soft, “precious” soundvoice but says Alessandra won. Adam says Alessandra came off too rehearsed and Kayla sounded too sharp some times. Adam chooses Kayla. Alessandra is up for a steal. Christina steals Alessandra because she understands her lack of confidence and wants to give her a second chance.
TEAM ADAM ROUND 2 – Adam also pairs off Adonna Duru and Michelle Brooks Thompson. They don’t show the full duel but we find out that Adam keeps Michelle and Adonna is eliminated.
WHO IS ELIMINATED:
Team Blake: Nicole Johnson
Team Adam: Alessandra Garcio but she is stolen by Christina and on her team now. Adam also eliminates Adonna Duru.
Team Cee Lo: Emily Earle
Team Christina: Beat Frequency

Team Cee Lo: Mackenzie Bourg
