On Monday’s episode of The Voice, Adam Levine harshly slammed The Roxy Theatre, an iconic West Hollywood club. In his own words, Levine said during his critique of Cassadee Pope covering Michelle Branch:  “We opened up at The Roxy for Michelle Branch and they did not even give us a dressing room. I hate the Roxy..They screwed us over..they’re paying for it now, I’ll never play there again.”

When Cassadee whose own band Hey Monday had played at the club tried to say nice things about the joint, Levine cut her off and said: “Oh, the Roxy is horrible. Don’t ever go there.”

Now, The Roxy was not going to take that sitting down. Oh hell no! The Sunset Strip staple hit back with “Ummm, what was that about?” on Twitter. They then made a change in their marquee telling Levine that “Adam Levine Your Dressing Room Is Ready.”

Well played Roxy, well played!! Levine is yet to respond…but I for one would love to see a secret Maroon 5 show at The Roxy! As long as I am invited that is 😉 What do you say Adam?
