If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, at least take comfort in the fact that your’re not Lindsay Lohan, because if you were, things would be much worse for you. The troubled actress is at it again and this time, she is facing charges on two coasts this morning.

Let’s start with the east coast. Lohan was arrested at 4 AM this morning in NYC for assault. Supposedly, she smacked a woman at a night club–we don’t have more details on that yet. Let’s now make our way to the west coast where Lindsay will be formally charged with three crimes in Santa Monica, California, in relation to the car accident she had this summer on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Per TMZ, Lindsay will be charged with:

1. Giving false information to a peace officer … punishable by up to 6 months in jail.
2. Obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty … punishable by 1 year in jail.
3. reckless driving … punishable by 90 days in jail.

Now, doesn’t your bad day all the sudden look much better? I know mine does.
