Bravo’s big premier week continues tonight November 5, 2012 with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The ladies of the 90210 are back! Not much has changed since their explosive second season.  Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof are still not speaking, Taylor Armstrong is still reeling from her husband’s suicide, Kim is home from rehab but her troubles with her sister Kyle Richards persist. Here is a recap of the Season 3 premiere episode, which aired November 5, 2012.

Lisa- The last time we saw the opinionated Brit she was battling with cast mate and former neighbor Adrienne Maloof.  Things fell apart during the reunion episode last season when Adrienne accused Lisa of selling stories about her to the tabloids.  Since then, the two have stopped speaking to one another and Lisa has moved from her home across the street from Adrienne. She has “downsized” from her 15,000 square foot mansion to a meager 8,000 square foot home. Lisa’s new BFF, Brandi Glanville was the first to see her new digs and upon entering Lisa’s closet said exactly what I’m sure most viewers were thinking- “f**k you, I’m so jealous, my whole house is the size of your closet and bathroom.”

Brandi- Everyone’s favorite jilted ex (her husband famously left her for LeAnn Rimes two years ago) has been upgraded to a full cast member this season.  Her relationships with the other women are strained to say the least. You may recall Brandi burst on to the scene last season when she accused Kim of doing crystal meth, Kyle of being an enabler, Taylor of trying to profit from her husband’s suicide and Adrienne of taking about the other women behind their backs.  Brandi appears to still be on the outs with most of the women. At Lisa’s party, Kim scurried away from her and Taylor barely said hello.  It looks like Brandi’s got some expensive boots to lick this season.

Adrienne- Paul and Adrienne are having an uncomfortable romantic dinner when Taylor calls and lets it slip that Adrienne was not invited to Lisa’s Villa Blanca party. Later, while shopping with Taylor, Adrienne reveals that Paul may be expanding his plastic surgery practice to New York., and she doesn’t seem to sad to see him go… hmmm… possible foreshadowing of the divorce drama that is currently playing out between the two.

Yolanda- The newest housewife (replacing Camille Grammer) is a former model, and wife of world-renowned music producer and 60-time Grammy Award winner David Foster. Yolanda’s ex-husband is Mohammed Hadid- Mohammed is a uber wealthy friend of Lisa’s who has been featured in several episodes of RHOBH and another Bravo reality series, Shahs of Sunset. Last season he hosted Lisa’s daughter’s bridal shower at his palace home, with 10 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a grand ballroom, Moroccan room, 19 elevators, and a swan pond. We may not know much about Yolanda yet, but we do know she sure has great taste in men.

Kim and Kyle- Kim is home from rehab, but she and Kyle are barely speaking. Older sister Kathy Hilton makes a cameo appearance, but does little to ease the tension between her two feuding siblings. Now that she is sober, Kim has time to attend all of the housewife parties- last season she showed up 2 days late to Kyle’s party in Hawaii and was to busy to make it to most of the other ladies events throughout the season. Kim made an appearance at Lisa’s Villa Blanca anniversary party tonight, but when Kyle invites her to her 4-year-old daughter’s birthday party later in the week, Aunt Kim doesn’t know if she can make it… so much for new beginnings.

I did not forget about Taylor; it’s just that as usual she doesn’t have much going on. Hopefully things pick up for her this season or she may find herself in the unemployment line with Sheree Whitfield from ATL, Camille Grammer from BH and most of the NYC housewives- Andy Cohen will cut a chick.
