The Voice airs a brand new episode tonight November 7, 2012. It’s the second live show of The Voice season 3. This is going to be quite a week for The Voice as the show has already aired one live performance show Monday and will also air a results show Thursday.
The Top 12 artists will be determined this week as two artists from each team will be sent home on “The Voice” Live Playoff Results Show, Thursday, November 8 (8-9 p.m. ET). In the first live elimination show of the season, the two artists who receive the most viewer votes on each team from the previous nights’ Live Playoffs, will be saved and guaranteed a spot in the Monday, November 12 Live Show. Meanwhile, each coach is tasked with the difficult decision of choosing one more artist from the remaining three to move forward in the competition and perform in the next week’s Live Show, thereby eliminating the other artists.
Tonight, Team Christina and Team Cee Lo will be performing. Who are you going to vote for? Tonight these artists will take the stage: Dez Duron, De’Borah, Devyn DeLorea, Adriana Louise, and Sylvia Yacoub from Team Christina. From Team Cee Lo Trevin Hunte, Mackenzie Bourg, Nicholas David, Diego Val and Cody Belew will perform for your vote.

Adriana Lewis
Adriana sings Katy Perry’s Firework.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Cee Lo said she did a great job and has a beautiful voice and gave a beautiful rendition. Says she is “worthy competition.” Adam said the song is “a total bitch” to sing live–now we know why Katy sounds awful every time she sings it live!! Adam says Adriana did a fantastic job with it. Blake loved it. Christina wants America to know that Adriana is a beautiful person outside of music. She also thanks Adam for mentioning how hard it is to sing that song.

Cody Belew
Cody sings “One More Try”.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Adam calls it “a brilliant choice, a brilliant song, and that Cody did a brilliant job.” Blake says that Team Cee Lo has “lots of threats.” Christina says Cody is one of her favorites on the show. Cee Lo is of course proud and says Cody did a great job and is looking like a “seasoned professional.”

De’Borah
De’Borah sings “Who Knew” by Pink.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Cee Lo calls De’Borah “very compelling.” Adam says there is “nothing regular” about her after he heard her call herself “regular De’Borah”. Blaks says her voice “sneaks up on him.” He just loved the way she worked the stage.Christina also liked the way De’Borah commanded the stage like no one else on the show has or can. She calls her “the real deal.”

Diego Val
Diego sings “Bailamos”.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Adam does not think Diego was “100% engaged” and that he even looked bored at times. Blake said there is a “coolness to him.” Christina agreed with Adam and thinks Diego didn’t seem very inspired or into singing the song. Cee Lo thinks Diego’s natural “coolness” translated to the “not into it” vibe.

Mackenzie Bourg
Mackenzie sang What Makes You Beautiful.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Adam calls Mackenzie he’s “frigging adorable.” Blake calls him “one of the more popular people in the competition.”Christina said she wants Mackenzie to do something with “a little more depth” next time. Cee Lo agrees with Christina.

Devyn Deloera
Devyn sang Bleeding Love.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Cee Lo said he knows Devyn can do better. Blake wanted to see the softer side of Devyn that had been discussed on the “b-roll”. But instead she turned it into “powerhouse” but he loves that side of her too. Christina thought Devyn did an amazing job.

Nicholas sang You’re The First, The Last, My Everything by Barry White.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Adam says he now “wants to make a baby” after hearing the baby-making music. Blake agrees and also thinks Nicolas did a fantastic job. Cee Lo says Nicholas has a voice which “everyone” can get into.

Sylvia Yacoub
Sylvia sang The One That Got Away by Katy Perry.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Cee Lo said her’s was his fave performance of the night. Adam thinks she definitely deserves to move forward in the competition. He also liked her song choice and her incorporation of the piano in her performance. Christina said the two of them “get” each other. She said Sylvia is a “tried and true artist.”

Dez sings Wanted a country song because Christina recommended it to break out of his shell.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Adam and Blake both think Dez has great accurace and control. Christina gives Dez a standing ovation and calls him “the full package.”

JUDGES’ COMMENTS: Blake tells Trevin did a phenomenal job. Christina agrees but wants Cee Lo to really push him. Cee Lo is speechless. Then says, “OMG! It’s just… ability man. It’s un-earthly, and no one is going to argue against the fact that you could win the entire thing.”
