Demi Lovato dedicated a sweet, moving tribute to the victims of Newtown school shooting with her new song, “Angels Among Us.”

The 20-year-old singer and X Factor judge Tweeted: “Releasing something I did today on Christmas Eve. I hope you all like it.. means a lot to me.”

The video starts with a powerful statement: “We can never imagine what the families in Newtown, CT are experiencing right now. And while there is nothing we can do to replace their loss, we can stand together and support them during this difficult time. This song is in honor of those angels we lost on December 14.”
