The gossip tabloids were right for once! Kate Middleton is pregnant! She and Prince William are expecting their first baby! The couple announced the happy news in a royal press announcement.

Their royal highnesses and families are “delighted” with the news the statement read before also announcing that Kate is already having difficulties with her pregnancy. She was hospitalized on Monday with an acute morning sickness called Hypermesis Grayidarum. The condition  requires supplementary hydration and nutrients.

The statement said, “As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
