Kristen Stewart has done it again. After seeming rather happy lately to be in the public eye, the ‘On The Road’ actress has reverted to her old ways and given us more priceless quotes about the things she hates in life and her business.
This time, the quotes come from Kristen speaking about her nude scenes in the movie not being “brave” acting as some call it, but saying she’s only doing her job. And hating people along the way for it.
In an interview with The Huffington Post, Stewart said, “I hate when people go, ‘Oh, wow, great performance. So brave, ” adding, “Oh, because I’m naked? That’s very annoying. But at the same time, if that’s what they’re focusing on, then On the Road probably isn’t for them anyway.”
Stewart swears that the occasional nudity of teenage bride Marylou in the movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s classic 1957 novel is not what this flick is at all about. “This book celebrates being alive and it celebrates being human, and if you want to cover up and deny any aspect of that, you are denying the spirit of the book,” Stewart said.
“I need to be so rocked by something, so moved by something that the idea of letting it down or ruining it is painful, and that’s what gets you through the shoot,” she said.
Probably talking about the scene where she gives a hand job to two guys, Stewart says, “If you start considering what people are going to think, you’ll never make a movie.”
