So, who won The X Factor? Tate Stevens wins the second season of X Factor USA and takes home the $5 million prize!! The 37-year-old Tate beat out Carly Rose Sonenclar who came in second.

Tate Nation fans somehow garnered more votes for the singer from Belton, Kansas despite powerhouses Britney Spears and will.i.am Tweeting all night asking their massive fan bases to vote for Carly Rose.

Mentored by L.A. Reid, Tate sang Anything Goes, Pontoon, and Tomorrow in last night’s finale and the performances by the lovable country singer were enough to edge him out for the win. You can watch all of Tate’s final performances here.
