Last week on the season premiere of The Bachelor, Sean Lowe proved he will bend the rules this season by giving out 12 roses before the rose ceremony even took place.

What will Sean do on tonight’s episode? Below are some juicy spoilers and show recap for the January 14, 2013 episode. 

On this second episode of the season, we have 19 remaining bachelorettes who move into the mansion still fighting for Sean’s love. Sarah Herron gets the season’s first one-on-one date. The group date will take 13 of the ladies on a photo shoot challenge for a romance novel cover. Desiree Hartstock gets the other one on one date of the show.

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH SARAH HERRON
Sean takes Sarah away for a picnic — it’s done on a helicopter to the top of one of Los Angeles’ highest buildings. But the couple have to first doe a 300 feet free fall. Sarah who only has one arm gives it a try. She later opens up on how it is like being physically challenged and how she strives to overcome this hurdle. Of course Sarah gets a date rose as Sean admits that she’s blown away his expectations and he could not wait for a first kiss…which he got by the way. And Sarah already admits to the camera that she’s falling in love. “I don’t know how I got so lucky,” she says.

GROUP DATE
The 13 ladies who go on the group date are: Selma, Tierra, Robyn, Katie, Katherine, Amanda, Lesley M., Kacie, Kristy, Brooke, Daniella, Taryn, and Diana.  The date turns out to be a photoshoot competition and the winner gets a cover on a romance novel. Kristy Kaminski, the Ford model, wins the the shoot and gets the romance cover deal.

The photoshoot takes place in a sprawling Beverly Hills estate.  Lesley M. sneaks in a kiss as she and Sean pose for their cowboy scene and a ‘cat fight’ may ensue with the women watching. Then, Kristy makes the girls jealous when she seduces Sean in front of the others.

Tierra has a heart to heart with Sean and confides in him she is having a hard time dealing with the other women. Sean does the usual: Tells her to stick around because he has feelings for her.

Kacie B. wants to leave the “friend zone” and become a love interest to Sean. Her talk with Sean workes as she gets the group rose. Sean says it’s hard going through this process twice and he is rewarding Kacie for her guts to do this again. Tierra is pissed and says she wanted to punch Kacie. “I don’t get it.”

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH DESIREE HARTSOCK
Sean takes Desiree to an art show–but it’s so much more than that! The setting is actually an elaborate hidden camera hoax making it look like she broke a $1.5M sculpture. Desiree rolled with the punches and passed Sean’s test for humor.

The couple then enjoy a romantic dinner and share stories about their families. Then, there is the season’s first steamy shared hot tub scene and kiss.

Desiree gets a rose.

GIRLS WHO DO NOT GO ON A DATE!

GROUP DATE SHOCKER!
Katie Levans leaves the show because she doesn’t feel it.

Katie feels “excessively uncomfortable” and doesn’t plan to compete. Kacie doesn’t think she’s long for the house since she’s so uncomfortable. Katie tells Sean this is not the right setting for her. So, Sean walks her out. Goodbye Katie.
