Hugh Jackman who won the 2013 Golden Globe for Best Actor In A Musical Or Comedy thanked director Tom Hooper in his acceptance speech, revealing that he almost pulled out of the flick!

“I never told you this [Jackman to Hooper]. But three weeks in, we had a terrible rehearsal, and I was going to call you and tell you someone else had to play this role. My wife talked me out of it.”
