SPOTTED: Mark Salling on the set of Glee being filmed Friday (January 18) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actor went about work despite the fact that he was sued today in Los Angeles Superior Court by a woman who claims Salling committed sexual battery against her when he had unprotected sex with her against her protest. 

The suit against Salling cites that in addition to sexual battery and assault-and-battery, Salling inflicted intentional infliction of emotional distress upon the plaintiff. The suit calls Salling’s conduct “willful, malicious and despicable,” and the plaintiff claims she says she has suffered “severe and substantial mental and emotional distress, humiliation, fear, apprehension, anxiety and anguish” as a result of Salling’s conduct.

Mark‘s rep Janice Lee responded to the lawsuit as follows: “There is no truth to this. It’s the textbook case of a disgruntled girl looking to cash in on a TV star’s success.”

Janice added, “We turn the rest over to Mark‘s attorneys and have no further comment.”
