Lindsay Lohan doesn’t have many reasons to celebrate these days, but here’s one. The troubled starlet became a big sister again! Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan and his girlfriend Kate Major recently welcomed the newest member of the Lohan clan to the world. A family spokesperson (probably Michael Lohan himself) confirmed to US Weekly magazine, that Landon Major Lohan was born on Wednesday in a Florida Hospital.
Baby Landon is the couple’s first child together and weighed in at seven pounds, five ounces and the family is “doing great.” Landon isn’t the only new member of the Lohan family; last year while appearing on a talk show, Michael Lohan had a Maury Povich moment and found out that he is the father of a 17 year-old girl named Ashley.
Lohan and Major have a stormy on and off again relationship, with Major even filing a restraining order against Lohan alleging abuse and harassment. She became pregnant shortly after the order was lifted.
Lohan is currently estranged from his daughter Lindsay, who was in a Los Angeles courtroom on the day her half brother was born. Lindsay and her mother raced from New York to Los Angeles late Tuesday night so she could appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on a probation violation charge. Lohan had tried to dodge the mandatory court appearance but thought the better of it when pictures of her
shopping and smoking a cigarette in New York City surfaced the day the letter claiming she was too sick to make her court appearance was sent to the judge.
Lohan is due back in court in March for trial and faces charges in connection with her traffic accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in June. Lohan has pled not guilty to the charges of lying to police, reckless driving and obstructing an officer from doing his duty. The trial date is set for March 18th.
