NeNe Leakes is totally teasing us.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta and New Normal star posted a series of pics from her New Year’s Eve festivities which made it look like she and ex-husband Gregg Leakes may have gotten engaged!

The couple who divorced in 2011 after 14 years of marriage are now seen everywhere together, so an engagement would not be too shocking of a news. But NeNe has yet to come clean on what her pics were trying to tell her fans.

So, what pics did NeNe post to make us think the couple is giddily engaged?

First, there was the photo of their rose-petal-covered, candlelit hallway, with the caption, “Look @ our nite cap! #new beginnings.” Then, there were the photos below, one which shows off a bottle of champagne on ice, surrounded by strawberries/cream and a ‘G and an N’ made out of Hershey’s Kisses. The other pic features a heart-shaped design, again made with Hershey’s Kisses, laid out perfectly on a bed.

“IT’S ON NOW! #2013,” NeNe Tweeted. And then came the kicker Tweet: “My answer was…Yes.”

YES? OK, so, NeNe and Greg are engaged, right?

Not so fast.

NeNe was on the Today Show Thursday and was very elusive on the topic of her engagement with host Hoda Kotb. She said, “Gregg and I are definitely back together…I tweeted about our New Year’s Eve…I love Twitter, as a matter of fact, so please follow me on Twitter @neneleakes, I love it!”

Nice way to get off topic Ms. Leakes.

So, are you engaged or not NeNe? After dancing around the issue as you can see, she added, “But no, I think people can see on The Real Housewives of Atlanta that Gregg and I are together, and I think people want to know if we’re going to the next level.”

And without giving us any more information, NeNe ended with: “You’ll just have to tune in to The Real Housewives to see!”
