A lucky high school senior from Los Angeles is going to prom with Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton!

And all he had to do is create the cutest and sweetest YouTube video clip titled “Kate Upton, Will You Go to Prom With Me?,”

“Kate, can I call you Katie? OK, Kate works,” the 17-year-old Jake Davidson asks in the video–as he takes a shower.

“Kate, great moments are born from great opportunity and that is what you have here today, a chance to make a nice guy’s senior year the best ever.”

And in a surprising move, the super hot model responded to the request on Twitter.

“You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I’ll check my schedule.”

Jake almost wet himself at the mere response. Perhaps, he even did.

“You truly are incredible…Just responding made my year, thanks so much. P.S. Hope your schedule is free!”

Things only got brighter for Davidson from that moment on. While making an appearance on  Wednesday’s Today –yes, her made a TV appearance–Upton called in to speak to her potential prom date.

Davidson told Kate, “This just got so much better now that you’re on the phone!” Upton responded  “You seem like so much fun and if everything works out, I’d love to go with you. I know we’d have a blast.”
