Last night’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (March 4, 2013) was titled, ”No Business Like Clothes Business.” Below is a full show recap of RBOH Episode 17:
The ladies bid adieu to Paris and head back to Los Angles. Kyle is preparing for the opening of her clothing store, Kyle by Alene Too.Lisa is planning a housewarming/wedding vow renewal ceremony at her home and of course she called party planner extraordinaire Kevin Lee. Last season, Lee planned Lisa’s daughter Pandora’s wedding while spouting off such gems as, “Beverly Hills darling, shi, shi, shi. bling, bling, bling. “ Lee is always entertaining, hopefully we’ll see him again soon- I’d rather have him as a guest star over the annoying, overdramatic Faye Resnick any day. Yolanda is doing a photo-shoot for a Asian magazine with her husband David. David is running late, but rather than say he’s working, he’ll be here soon, Yolanda can’t stop herself from name-dropping. “He has a show with Brabara Streisand tonight. David is super busy he is recording with Rod Stewart and Andrea Bocelli now.”
Hot mess alert- Dana is back! Taylor has a lush to lush, oops I mean heart to heart chat with her friend Dana. Remember Dana from last season? She and Brandi were brought in last season as “secondary characters” (much like Yolanda and Marisa this season) but only Brandi made the leap to full time housewife status. I wonder why- oh yeah, it was probably because Dana spent most of the season chasing Kyle, Kim and Camille around begging them to be her friends like it was high school and they were popular cheerleaders and she was the nerdy president of the science club. Remember when she walked around showing everyone her million dollar, diamond encrusted lollypop holder? I’m sure Dana has found better uses for her time and money since then- nope, Dana tells Taylor, “I drink a lot and I’m OK with it and I f— a lot and I’m OK with it too.”
Dana is pretty drunk during lunch and Taylor wants to confront her, “I want to give Dana some advice but she is just to out of it at this point. I know why Dana’s drinking; I’ve been there” (yeah two weeks ago when you didn’t know where your daughter was.) At this point, Dana starts ranting about how much she hates Brandi, “I hate that b**ch. I really want to actually be like I wanna puke when I see you and how dare you be the freaking low life that you are I just can’t stand it.” Maybe some of the wine Dana was sucking down has sour grapes in it since Brandi now a cast member and Dana is …Dana. She goes on to say, “the only reason Brandi even knows any of us, because she’s not on par with our group is Adrienne.” “Not on Par with our group?” Oh girl please, you are drunk in the middle of the day and trying to light a cigarette with a candle. Wait, I am watching the episode again as I type so I can quote the nonsense she is spewing and through the magic of Tivo I can rewind and see that she isn’t using a candle- she is so drunk that she takes her glass of water, lifts it up like a candle and is actually trying to light the cigarette with it. Next, Dana drunkenly doles out advice, “Everyone has ulterior motives you better have your guard up because these people they may not have your back. They really love themselves, all of these women. I’m not sure they have enough room in all of their love for themselves to love you. Trust me.”
The night of Kyle’s opening arrives (CLICK HERE FOR EXCLUSIVE PICS OF THE GRAND OPENING TAKEN BY US, CELEBMAGNT). I think the clothes look like overpriced, Miami housewife frocks but the opening is a success, but not without some drama. Kyle and Kim huddle in a corner and have a tearful talk. Kim tells Kyle that she was behaving strangely in Paris because she was taking the wrong medication, two of her pills look alike and she was confusing them. Kyle says she want to believe her but, it’s hard. Kim tells her sister she knows she has to gain her trust back. Huddled in another corner are Taylor and Yolanda. Yolanda called Taylor out about talking behind her back prior to leaving for Paris. Taylor tells Yolanda that her issues are with David, not Yolanda. David was married to Taylor’s friend and all she knows about his are the bad things her friend was telling her. Yolanda is quick to point out, “Don’t talk about my husband. He’s been so good to all his ex-wives.” Yolanda and Taylor eventually agree to start with a clean slate and hug it out.
Adrienne and Paul show up to the opening, I think we are starting to see more of the demise of their marriage. Adrienne completely ignores Paul and rushes into the store leaving her husband behind calling after her. Kyle’s store opening is a success, and having it featured on tonight’s episode didn’t hurt either. The site’s twitter feed tweeted last night that the store’s website had crashed due to all of the traffic.
Next-Faye continues to earn her keep on Adrienne’s payroll, she confronts Brandi yet again, but this time Brandi has Yolanda in her corner. Paul and Adrienne are fighting.
