“The Amazing Race” airs its tenth episode of season 22 tonight April 28, 2013 in an episode titled, “Working Our Barrels Off”. The five remaining teams are Max & Katie, Joey & Meghan, Caroline & Jennifer, Bates & Anthony and Mona & Beth. The teams will all leave Germany and head to Scotland.

LIVE SHOW BLOG:

Max & Katie are the first team to depart the last pit stop located in Berlin at 2:02 am. They now have to head to Edinburgh, Scotland and from there drive a Ford Fiesta to the Gosford House for their next clue.

Once the teams arrive at the airport, they realize it is closed. Katie & Max located a business center and were able to get their tickets. Mona and Beth have to complete a Speed Bump since they came in last place during a non-elimination leg last week.

There are two flights leaving Berlin. First one lands at 1:00pm and has Bates and Anthony on board along with Max & Katie and Caroline & Jennifer.  The second flight has Meghan & Joey and Mona & Beth.

The Roadblock involves learning to play a harmonizing note on a bag pipe with the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Max finishes first and gets the next clue which is to search the fireplace at Craigmillar Castle. Bates & Anthony finish second place. Mona & Beth and Joey & Meghan arrive in Scotland. When they see that there are only two Fords, they realize they are behind everyone else.

Caroline & Jennifer finish the Roadblock but it takes them seven tries. Caroline finishes as well. Bates & Anthony get the clue first and it’s a Detour where teams have to pick between Tasty Puddin’ or Whisky Rollin’.  In Whisky Rollin’, teams have to roll eight 100 pound whisky barrels to a designated place. That’s what Bates and Anthony decide to do. In Tasty Puddin’, teams have to prepare a meat in a pig’s stomach which is called Haggis. Katie and Max do this.

Mona & Beth and Joey & Meghan who were on the second flight get to the Roadblock.  Mona completes the task fast and heads out to the Speed Bump with Beth. Meghan is still working at the Roadblock.

Bates & Anthony finish first as they usually do and for their next clue, they’re told to find Duddingston Kirk. Max & Katie finish the Haggis and eat it and head on. Anthony and Bates U-Turn Joey & Meghan. Max & Katie U-Turn Mona & Beth. Anthony and Bates and Max and Katie head to the pit stop. Mona and Beth have to play Swedish bowling called Skittles

Max & Katie arrive first at the Pit stop and win $10,000.00 each. Bates & Anthony arrive in second place. Caroline & Jennifer are now heading to the pit stop after finishing their Hagis. Mona & Beth and Joey & Meghan arive together at the castle. Mona & Beth want to lose the other two but can’t and are followed. Caroline & Jennifer are the third team to arrive at the pit stop.

Mona & Beth finish their Haggis. They now roll the whisky barrels. One done, they head out for the Pit Stop. Joey & Meghan are behind them.

Mona & Beth are team number four. Joey & Meghan are the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop and are eliminated from the race.

PIT STOP ORDER:
1st: Max and Katie. They win $10,000 each.
2nd: Anthony and Bates
3rd: Caroline and Jennifer
4. Mona and Beth
5. Joey and Meghan
