‘The Voice‘ Season 4 airs its second battle round of the season tonight April 16, 2013. Just like last night, coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher will continue to pair up their contestants for a second time to sing duets in tonight’s battle round. TEAM USHER (Mentor is Pharrell Wiliams)
1. Jeff Lewis vs. Josiah Holley: – These two are going head to head singing Roxanne by The Police.
Judges’ comments: Shakira was not really impressed even though she said it’s a hrd song to sing; Adam thought it fell flat a bit and they over over singing the song. He’d pick Josiah. Blake thought Josiah looks like a rock star but thinks Jeff won it. Usher: congratulates them on all of their hard work.
ROUND WINNER: Josiah Holley.
STEAL: No one steals Jeff Lewis and he is eliminated tonight.

2. Audrey Karrasch also advanced tonight on Team Usher in a battle not shown.  Audrey went against Jamila Thompson on “If I Was A Boy”. Jamila Thompson was eliminated.

TEAM BLAKE (Mentor is Sheryl Crow)
1. Caroline Glaser and Danielle Bradberry. Blake paired these two against each other because they are the least experienced on his team. The battle song was “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae.
Judges’ comments: Usher thought they were both confident in the beginning but shaky on the middle harmonies. Shakira said the performance was as refreshing as tangerine ice cream. Caroline impressed her with her uniqueness. Adam thinks he is an imbecile for not picking Caroline.
ROUND WINNER: Danielle Bradberry
STEAL: Both Usher and Adam ring in quickly to steal Caroline. Caroline Glaser goes to Team Adam.

2. Grace Askew also advanced on Team Blake in a battle which was not shown. It was Grace vs. Trevor Davis, with the two singing “Me And Bobby McGee”. Trevor Davis was eliminated.

Michael Austin vs. Warren Stone – It’s the Sheriff vs. The Firefighter on “My Kind of Party” by Jason Aldean
Judges’ comments: Blake saw it as a wrestling match, saying Michael coming into the ring was like Stone Cold come into the ring. It was the outlaw thing. He thinks Warren is smoother but he would pick Michael–wonder if that is his choice or if he’s playing mind games with Adam; Usher said Michael was there to win it but he’d pick Warren cause he had a country swag; Shakira liked both the same; Adam said Blake gave him some good insight.
ROUND WINNER: Warren Stone.
STEAL: No steal is used. Michael Austin is eliminated.

Tawnya Reynolds was picked by Shakira to advance in a battle which was not shown. Tawnya battled it out against Mark Andrew on “The Chain”. Mark Andrew was eliminated.
