“Celebrity Apprentice – All Stars” airs its final results show of the season tonight May 19, 2013. We are down to the final two contestants Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette. Who will win Celebrity Apprentice tonight? Who will be the last one fired tonight?
UPDATE: WHO WON CELEBRITY APPRENTICE?
TRACE ADKINS WINS CELEBRITY APPRENTICE! See the show’s full recap below!
Trace and Penn will face off against each other in the final task which required them to create a new flavor of Walgreens Delish brand premium ice cream, produce a promotional video, and raise money for a launch event. It’s Maple Macadamia Mash Up (Trace’s ice cream flavor) vs. The Swirtle (Penn’s ice cream flavor).
We last left off our contestants as Penn was having an impossible time shaving 12 seconds off of his promotional video for The Swirtle and Trace unable to find enough donors for his launch event. Who will Donald Trump fire, and who will become the very first All-Star Celebrity Apprentice?

LIVE SHOW RECAP:
-Tonight’s Boardroom Advisers are Joan Rivers and Ivanka Trump. Special Guests include Gilbert Gottfried, Blue Man Group, Teller, Tim Tebow, Taylor Hicks, Wayne Newton, George Wallace, The Oak Ridge Boys, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wynonna Judd and Vinny Pastore.
TEAM PENN
we start off with Penn’s team where we last left him –he is still 9 seconds over his commercial and must cut it down to sixty seconds and no more! He thinks if they cut it down more than he already has the message will lose its magic. He thinks about doing an outtake–they decide to cut out Dennis who was the punchline and just keep the magic trick. They use Dennis’ footage to show behind the scenes of how the trick was done. BRILLIANT!
For their event launch, Penn is as usual able to get lots of celebs to attend. Even the legendary Wayne Newton is coming as is Taylor Hicks, Gilbert Gottfried, George Wallace, Debbie Harry and Blue Man Group. Dee Snider will be there too to show his support.
At the event space, everyone gets down and dirty setting up the room. Everyone is pitching in on Penn’s team. Penn did not know who to decorate and kept saying “I don’t know” when asked how he likes this or that setup. So, he let La Toya and Lisa take over the decorations.
Lisa Rinna was in charge of the money coming in at the event.Taylor Hicks donated $10,000 to the team. Jan Jones, former mayor of Las Vegas, accompanied by Vegas showgirls gave a check for $250,000. Cha Ching!! So far, Penn has $500,000.
Donald and Ivanka show up at Team Penn’s space and love his ice cream.
TEAM TRACE
Trace had some difficulty getting pledges but he’s on a roll now. He said he needs Jesus to show up for him tonight…and just like that, we learn that NFL quarterback Tim Tebow will be there donating $200K! Trace says Penn Jillette is the most ethical atheist he’s ever met but ‘I’m bringing Jesus…Penn & Teller make magic tricks but Jesus makes blind people see…”
Got to love Gary Busey. He will once again play Buddy Holly in the commercial. he received an Oscar nod for playing that role before.
Trace is not sure if his friends will show up at the launch event. Some country singers and organizations donate to Trace’s team as well as Tony Stewart, a Nascar driver, who gives a $25K check. We see Billy Ray Cyrus with a $50K check and Wynnona Judd with a $80 K check. Marilou says there were few donors but the checks were big.
Trace’s team panics because Penn has raised so much money. And it does not help that Tim Tebow is stuck in traffic with his $200K check. Trace is getting fed up and does not want to wait for the check. Marilou begs to wait for the check for him but he insists on starting…Tebow eventually shows up. And has the check. BUT, I couldn’t tell if it was for the $200K he had promised or just $100K because all Trace said is that “Tim brought $100K more.” This is gonna be close. UPDATE: Turns out that Tebow only gave $100K –and he was late.
For the live event, Trace performs and then Gary appears as Buddy Holly. Things are going well.
RESULTS
Here we go. We’re finally getting close to finding out who wins Celebrity Apprentice. Before we hear the results Trump says he tapes the show with no script and he should win an Emmy every year but they ‘hate him.’
WHAT THE EXECS SAID
Ivanka says Walgreens really liked Team Penn’s ice cream flavor and name of Swirtle –said it was a fun name. They said the video was clever, had good brand integration and liked Penn’s use of magic. They also thought his presentation was on point and clear on the product. They however felt that the packaging was nothing special and did not ‘pop’. Ivanka adds it was actually hard for the execs to come up with a negative.
For Team Trace, Joan Rivers says the execs loved their star power and use of Gary Busey. They thought Gary’s singing may go viral which they love. They also loved the name MashUp because it is catchy to a whole new demographic. But, they also felt that having maple as a flavor was too specific.
HOW MUCH MONEY EACH TEAM RAISED
Penn raised $503,655. Trace raised over $664,000!! That’s a lot of dough! But since Tim Tebow’s check was late, Trace’s total was reduced to $564,000. So yes, Tebow only brought in $100K and it did not even count towards the total. Trump says Walgreens will donate an additional $100,000 to the charity of the player who came up with the ice cream which sold the most. We find out Penn’s ice cream sold the most, so he gets the $100K for his charity.
Trump announces that he will give each contestant this season who failed to make any money for their charity $20,000. So Dennis Rodman, Gary Busey, Lil Jon and La Toya Jackson will each get some cash for their organizations. If you ask me, Trump should pony up way more dough. He can afford it. It’s also hard to believe that Lil Jon lasted as long as he did and failed to raise a penny on his own.
LIVE STUDIO
Donald Trump is sitting at the boardroom in the live studio with Ivanka Trump and Joan Rivers. Trump shows off Eric and Don in the audience. The fired contestants start to arrive to the live studio. We have Dee Snider, Claudia Jordan, Omarosa, Stephen Baldwin and Brande Roderick to the ‘boardroom’ stage.
We start right off from Omarosa who has straight long hair and claims she learned to be aggressive and confrontational from watching trump over the last ten years of The Apprentice. We all know that’s a lie. She came on the show that way! She said La Toya said some disgusting things about Michael Clarke Duncan. Trump reminds her that La Toya will be joining them soon.
Dee said he got fired because his creative process took longer than the ‘on the spot creativity’ needed for this show. Claudia said she did not bring back Omarosa to the boardroom because she knows Trump has a soft spot for her and he would not fire her. O kept saying ‘you were scared…’ Claudia adds that she and O are not friends. Brande says her team was not harmonious.
Lil Jon join the cast on stage, as do Lisa Rinna, Marilou Henner, Dennis Rodman, Gary Busey, and La Toya Jackson. Dennis Rodman looks like a freak in a blonde mow-hawk and purple eye shadow, topped with fake eye lashes. He then says North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un is ‘a good guy’ and he does not care what else he does?! HUH?
Trump says he does not know why Lil Jon is not in the finals and asks him what happened..Lil Jon says, ‘YOU FIRED ME!” The audience laughs hysterically. Trump says he is very proud of Lil Jon. As are a lot of us.
Trump asked Lisa how she changed from her first unsuccessful attempt and she said Trace picked her for a strong team.
Onto Omarosa again. Trump says he loves her despite her bad self. She says she is all about making good TV. Omarosa and La Toya bicker for a while and La Toya says they are not friends…they start screaming at each other and Gary stands up in an effort to stop them. It was impossible to hear what they said except for La Toya saying she never said anything bad about Michael Clarke Duncan and O saying something about Michael Jackson and saying La Toya has no respect.
I am shocked and sad that Bret Michaels is not at the finale. So is Dennis Rodman. He said it’s a bad thing that Bret is not there. Trump did not explain why Bret was missing. UPDATE: From Bret’s facebook page: “The Apprentice finale is tonight. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend due to a private event and my daughter’s birthday, but Celebrity Apprentice is a great show and I want to wish best of luck to Penn Jillette and Trace Adkins tonight!’
Trace sings while Penn plays on the bass – this is great.
Trump says Walgreens will donate an additional $100,000 to the charity of the player who came up with the ice cream which sold the most. We find out Penn’s ice cream sold the most, so he gets the $100K for his charity.
Donald Trump does something unprecedented He gives $100,000 to Lil Jon’s Diabetes charity. THIS IS AWESOME because I thought lil Jo was amazing during both of his seasons. He gets a standing ovation from the live audience. Trump said Lil Jon is amazing and special and Trump took a lot of heat when he fired him. Lil Jon who lost his mother to diabetes this year is very emotional and even his dark sunglasses can’t hide his streaming tears.

5. Omarosa
6. Dennis Rodman
7. Stephen Baldwin
8. Brande Broderick
9. Gary Busey
10. Marilu Henner
11. Lisa Rinna
12. Lil Jon
I hope Penn Wins, but I’m 65% in favor of Penn.. Trace winning would be good to.. however, I still think it was total BS how Lil Jon and Lisa were fired.. they both played great games they both did great on challenges not just for themselves but for their teams as well… Lisa raised a lot of money too. They shouldn’t have been dismissed on a whim.. that sort of things happens almost every season on Apprentice and it’s not to the benefit of the show..
I loved team trace’ 10 minute presentation more. Had more energy and was fun. Team trace rocks.
will they reply the show again. We had tornadoes all day and evening ( Oklahoma)
