Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull were spotted on the beach in Miami, Florida on May 5, 2013 filming the music video for Jennifer’s new single “Live It Up”. JLo’s boyfriend Casper Smart and actress Eva Marcille were also on set.

Not before long, gunshots were heard nearby and JLo was rushed away to safety. JLo was being interviewed by Entertainment Tonight at the time and ET’s Rob Marciano tweeted: “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away.”

Police were called to the parking lot to investigate as JLo and Casper safely made their way to her car for their getaway.  Marciano later Tweeted: “Police confirming: ‘shots fired. no one hit.’ Whew.”

Fort Lauderdale Police report that the entertainer was thankfully on the other side of the beach, so, there were no injuries to anyone involved with the video.
