“The Bachelorette” airs a new episode tonight June 3, 2013 starring Desiree Hartsock. On tonight’s Bachelorette, Desiree gives away her first one-on-one date of the season to Brooks Forester against the backdrop of a bridal shop. Some time during this date, my friend and recording artist Andy Grammar performs two songs live–one of which may be ‘Crazy Beautiful’ which was played on The Bachelorette last week.
Desiree then takes 14 men on a group date where rap superstar Soulja Boy creates a music video for “Right Reasons”, using Desiree and the bachelors as extras.
Bryden Vukasin gets the other one-on-one date of the night and is treated to a romantic road trip up the beautiful California coast to Ojai.

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH BROOKS
Brooks gets the first one-on-one date of the season. The two drive around LA in her brand new blue Bentley. They stop and shop for lavish wedding gowns. Brooks also tries on a few tuxedos.
They then head to the world famous Hollywood sign where for the first time ever, a platform is built on the letter “L” for Desiree and Brooks to hang out. The two open up about her dreams and his last relationship. He also talks about his parents’ divorce. The two drive to a closed road but Desiree insists they go through. Once they do, they come up to a private dinner set out on a bridge for the two of them.
During the date, Desiree and Brooks are treated to a private concert by Andy Grammer where the two share a kiss. Brooks gets a date rose!
GROUP DATE
Desiree and 14 of her suitors head out to a studio to record a video with rapper Soulja Boy for the song “Right Reasons”. Eveyone but Chris, Brad and Bobby get dates of some sort this week.
The guys are all wearing costumes except for Brandon who is wearing a shirt and underwear. There is one rose from the group date to give out, so, all the guys want it of course.
During the evening’s cocktails, some of the lucky men get alone time with Desiree. Ben interrupts Mikey’s alone time with Des and he’s not too happy about it. Ben sneaks in a kiss without asking–and some of the men start to think he is there for the wrong reasons. Mikey T. has an unsettling feeling about Ben and confronts him. He says he finds Ben’s politician feel and hopes that he is not fake. Ben says he wants to avoid issues in the house. Ben was wise in avoiding drama because he ends up getting the group date rose! He just may be this season’s Bently!
ONE ON ONE DATE WITH BRYDEN
Bryden gets the second last individual date. He and Desiree take a scenic road trip up the California coast to Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. The two share an intimate dinner followed of course by time in a hot tub followed by lots of kissing after Desiree tells him to go for it. During the date, Bryden pours out his heart and tells Des about being raised alone really with his siblings when his father abandoned them and his mother succumbed to drug addiction. He also talks about an accident which almost killed him.
Bryden gets a date rose of course.
ROSE CEREMONY
During the rose ceremony, Ben and Desiree are alone and Ben talks about their ‘little secret’ which is that they’ve kissed. But the other guys hear it all and hate Ben even more.
