Lea Michele has spoken out publicly for the first time since the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith on July 13.
The Glee star had previously thanked fans for their support through her rep but she personally took to Twitter today writing: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”
Included with the message was this heartbreaking photo of Lea and Cory.
20th Century Fox also revealed that the Glee cast and crew gathered together on July 26 to “to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith.”
Glee creator Ryan Murphy has announced that the show will air a tribute episode to Monteith this fall.
