Katy Perry is all in for a little bit of competition on the music charts. Her new song ‘Roar’ is up against Lady Gaga‘s ‘Applause’ and it’s a race to the finish line to see which one sells more. “It’s all about the music and I really agree with [Gaga’s] message,” Katy told AMP Radio. “I’ve always been a fan of hers and I like to see her evolution.”

Katy added, “I think that it’s also nice that we’re all in the same kind of cycle together because it really keeps us both on our toes. It’s not that we feel competition, it’s that we keep each other on each other’s toes and it’s a healthy thing.”

So, who is winning the chart competition right now? Katy’s ‘Roar’ is currently at #1 on iTunes and Gaga’s ‘Applause’ sits at #2.
