Kim Kardashian has come out of hiding seven weeks after giving birth to North West, appearing in a surprise video message for her mom, Kris Jenner, on Kris Jenner‘s talk show.

“Hey mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person, but I’m just loving life a little bit too much at home right now,” the 32-year-reality star revealed in the video.

I guess Kim forgot to deliver the message to her mom in person since the two now live together. But that would not have made front page news.

Kim went on gushing. “But I watch you every single day and you are so amazing. You really are born to do this. I just want to say I love you and have an amazing show.” OK, if you say so, but that’s not what we’ve heard Kimmy.

Guest host Sean “Diddy” Combs set up the ‘surprise’ video by pretending it was a preview for a movie. As Kris watched, she got tears in her eyes (you know, cause she probably hadn’t seen Kim since breakfast at home earlier). “That made me cry … Thank you, Kimmy, thank you Sean,” Kris said” as she dried her eyes with a towel.  This family kills me.
