The Bachelorette airs its finale tonight August 5, 2013 starring Desiree Hartsock. So who did Desiree pick as her final man? Who got the final rose? Who is Desiree engaged to?

Desiree picked Chris Siegfried as her final man and gave him the final rose!  Before picking Chris and breaking Drew Kenny’s heart, Desiree told both men about Brooks leaving the show. “It turned my world upside down,” she admitted. “I don’t want Brooks leaving to affect my relationship with you guys and I won’t let yesterday break my spirit.”

When it came down to Chris or Drew, Des said she loved Chris more and felt that something was missing with Drew. “Chris is the man I could love my entire life, but at the same time, Chris doesn’t know how I felt about Brooks,” Des further admitted. She was also scared that Chris would run away once she heard about her feelings for Brooks.

So, Desiree told Chris all of it. And somehow, Chris proposed anyway. That is, after hearing Des say, “I love you, I love you so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

I don’t know about you or Chris, but after watching last week’s episode and Desiree saying she can’t love the other two men like she loves Brooks, I would run like hell if I were Chris!
