SPOTTED:  Acclaimed celebrity photographer, Gilles Bensimon, at a sophisticated night out at Sofitel Los Angeles Tuesday night, hosted by Genlux Magazine. The event, which served decadent cocktails by Svedka Vodka and Mediterranean Cuisine by Estérel Restaurant, celebrated Bensimon’s latest photo installation “Elles”, a series of work dedicated to women.

The exhibit captured some of the esteemed French fashion photographer’s best work and will be on display for public viewing in the Sofitel Los Angeles lobby, restaurant, and in Riviera 31 Lounge anytime now through January 2014.

The exclusive collection includes 25 photos honoring famous women from the arts & entertainment industry such as Charlize Theron, Tina Turner, Catherine Denuve, Kate Winslet, and many others.

Gilles Bensimon began his career with ELLE in 1967. Over the course of his career, he has assisted in the launch of the U.S. edition of ELLE, served as the International Creative Director of the magazine, photographed some of world’s top models and celebrities, and made guest appearances on reality television show, America’s Next Top Model.
