Carrie Underwood will star as Maria Von Trapp in the live televised performance of ‘The Sound of Music’ next month. And, NBC has given us our first glimpse into the star-studded show by releasing its first commercial for the airing.

The 21-second ad doesn’t really offer much insight into what will be a live show, but we can see Underwood dressed as her character made famous by Julie Andrews. Carrie recently told People Magazine that Andrews “just has this royal air…It would be like you’re beneath her! I think once people tune in and realize that [our version] is not a remake, they won’t compare it to the movie.”
