Lorenzo Lamas’ daughter and The Bachelor star Shayne Lamas is hospitalized after losing her unborn child due to a pregnancy complication. Shayne was 16-weeks along with her second child with husband Nik Richie 

Paramedics were called Sunday evening after Lamas collapsed in her home. TMZ reports that Shayne suffered internal bleeding but doctors were unable to specify the cause.

Shayne lost the baby while in surgery. Per TMZ, her doctors remain positive about her recovery.

Shayne and her husband Nik Richie have a 2-year-old daughter.

UPDATE: Lorenzo has told Us Weekly: “Shayne Lamas-Richie, is conscious and stable. She is not in a coma…she did miscarry the child she was carrying…Shayne is aware of her condition and that her family and her husband are here with her and love her so much. She will be remaining in the hospital until her doctors determine that she can be released.”
