“Orange is the New Black” actress Laura Prepon shined at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards which were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Laura Prepon How To:

Our inspiration this year was “feminine & glam” we wanted the hair down with soft waves and a much more touchable, unstructured look.

Step 1:

First, I prepped her hair with Joico’s Smooth Cure Thermal Protectant Spray throughout her hair and at the root I followed by adding Joico’s Body Luxe Volumizing Elixir to ensure the hair does not lay flat.

Step 2:

I blow dried the hair using a round brush to smooth her ends and a little flexibility.

With a deep side part I then pin curled set Laura’s hair with a 1.5 inch barrel marcel iron. Before curling I sprayed each subsection with Joico’s Iron Clad Thermal Protectant Spray.

Step 3:

After the pin curl set cooled, I dropped each section. I had Laura flip her head over and I used Joico’s Flip Turn Volumizing Finsishing Hairspray. With a Mason Pearson brush, I lightly brushed each curl out to create a loose sexy wavy.

A tip to create this is; curl every section in the same direction so when they drop and connect they form together and become a uniformed wave.

Step 4:

After some final touches and placing Laura’s hair to our liking I gave a final spray with Joico’s KPAK Color Therapy Dry Oil Spray to add protection and shine
