This post comes with a heat warning! Temperatures rose in monumental degrees this past weekend when Joanna Krupa visited the Dead Sea in Israel. Joanna’s best friend, Traci Szymanski, took her to Israel for a little bit of spiritual and physical rejuvenation, relaxation and fun. And some of that fun included Joanna getting Baptized!

Celebrity visits to Israel have been constant, diverse and numerous this summer, with the list of stars flocking to Israel continuing to grow. Celebs such as Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jay Leno, Backstreet Boys, One Republic, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Juanes, Robbie Williams, Gloria Gaynor, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Incubus, dozens of NBA players, Eminem, of course natives Gal Gadot, Natalie Portman & Bar Rafaeli and now Joanna Krupa, have all arrived separately and headed straight to the north to be baptized in the Jordan River.

Joanna Krupa’s baptism marked the 2000th baptism at Yardenit. Pictured with Todd Horton – An American who had a calling to come to Israel to help others who visit on a spiritual journey. Joanna wore a beautiful dress by Michal Negrin, the biggest designer in Israel with over 70 stores worldwide.

“I did it because as a baby your parents decide if you will be baptized,” Joanna said. “As an adult, I wanted to confirm my beliefs and to show thanks for my life and everything I have accomplished. I wanted to do it as a cleansing, especially when I am in a very spiritual, special holy place like Israel. It was very powerful. It is a celebration of my life and being thankful and accepting it as an adult and vowing to be a better person.”
