SPOTTED: Actress and Ambassador Elisabeth Rohm celebrating Emmy week and promoting the destination of Thailand at a ‘Threads of Thailand’ event hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Many magical amenities from Thai culture were showcased from the people known for being the most welcoming in the world. That included Thai food, dance, music, fashion and a special Thai Fabric exhibition.

The festivities were held at the private home of the Consul General of Thailand, Jesda Katavetin. He told Red Carpet Report that “This is one of the events that has been arranged by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Los Angeles. I am very pleased to allow them to use my house to do this, because this is the first red carpet event that we arranged in so many years.” Katavetin added, “We have a celebrity who agreed to help us promote the image of Thailand and sometime early next year, she will be traveling to Thailand.”

All guests commented on how wonderful it was to step inside the Thai Consul General’s home and be transported to Thailand. Highlights of course were Elisabeth Rohm and model/author Beverly Johnson.
