What a treat! Father and son duo Donald and Kiefer Sutherland were all smiles at the LA Screening of their joint movie, Momentum Pictures’ ‘Forsaken’, held at the Autry Museum of the American West on February 16, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Although Donald and Kiefer have appeared in two other movies together, “Forsaken” is the first movie in which father and son actually exchange dialogue. The two also starred in “A Time to Kill” in 1996, but they were never in the same scenes. Kiefer also had a small part in 1983’s “Max Dugan Returns,” but the father/son duo never spoke on camera on that movie either.

So, why did the two decide to make a movie together now, after all of this time of working in the industry? “My initial interest was to do a film with my father,” Kiefer recently revealed, adding, “He’s done so much extraordinary work and he’s someone I’ve had great respect for as an actor. It just took me 38 years to get into a place to do this.” He thought, “Wow. There really isn’t that much more time to do this. I’m getting older. My father is getting older.”
