1 Hotel & Homes South Beach which served as the official hotel of SI Swimsuit 2016, was simply taken over by the Sports Illustrated swim models as early as Wednesday morning when the beauties arrived on site at 3 AM after jet setting from Tuesday night’s celebration in New York City for the cover debut. The models were immediately greeted with Aussie sponsored wellness gift bags valued at over $10K each.

On Wednesday afternoon SI hosted the “Swim Beach” Sports Illustrated Fan Festival where the eager masses got a glimpse of their favorite SI models, including 2016 cover girls Ashley Graham and Hailey Clauson.

Aussie provided on-site styling and gave touch-ups to models at the Aussie Beach Bungalow at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach for the BBQ Bash Wednesday evening, including Chrissy Teigen, who was chatting about her pregnancy and cravings; a very gracious Gigi Hadid showing one fan how to take the perfect selfie; Blonde SI vixen Erin Heatherton commenting how the 2016 SI Swim issue is “all about T&A” – and that she’s definitely “a T girl” as it’s her strongest “asset” ;).
On Wednesdays evening 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach hosted the Miami Beach Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover launch party, on the main pool deck. Wiz Khalifa inaugurated the evening on a high note in a cloud of smoke posing for and mingling with photographers. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend stole the show arriving in a picture perfect black dress with chic full body slits along both sides and matching suit. Cover models Ashley Graham and Hailey Clauson graced the red carpet, posed for the cameras, and blew kisses at the crowd. Gigi Hadid, eager to get into the party, posed for cameras but dismissed interviews while hand in hand with best friend Lily Aldridge, and headed inside.
