SPOTTED: Jamie Chung at a photoshoot celebrating State Bag’s newest fall collection for Shopbop, just hitting the site now. State Bags is a Brooklyn-based charitable one-for-one brand that for every bag purchased, State donates a fully stocked bag to a child in need. Jamie personally hand-selected each of the looks in these images, bringing her classic and candid style to life, shot in Shopbop’s New York office.
MORE ABOUT STATE BAGS:
Through their volunteer work, husband-and-wife team Scot and Jacqueline Tatelman, witnessed lots of American children carrying their school supplies in plastic bags. That prompted the pair to found STATE, a line of clean, colorful backpacks, totes, lunch bags, and pencil cases that make a difference (and often collaborates with influencers like Beyoncé and Jamie Chung).
For every STATE bag purchased, the Brooklyn-based company donates a fully stocked knapsack to a child in an at-risk U.S. neighborhood. And not only are the carryalls philanthropic, but STATE’s streamlined designs come in a wide range of graphic prints and modern colors, ensuring there’s a style for every grown-up and mini-me alike.
