On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Autograph Collection hosted an exclusive preview of the brand’s Independent Film Initiative and partnership with Franklin Leonard, Founder & CEO of The Black List at The Row House on Greek Street in London. The event was in the form of a conversation over lunch, moderated by Bronwyn Cosgrave, author, curator and cultural commentator Notable guests included Chiké Okonkwo, who stars in “The Birth of a Nation”, Michael C. Fox, who starred in “Downton Abbey” and will appear in the 2017 Christopher Nolan film, “Dunkirk”, Laura Carmichael, who starred in “Downton Abbey” and stars in “A United Kingdom”, a film directed by Muriel Williams, which premiered at BFI London Film Festival, Franklin Leonard, Founder and CEO of The Black List.
On Tuesday, Autograph Collection’s St. Ermin’s Hotel hosted the film premiere after party of “London Town,” which premiered during the BFI London Film Festival. Notable guests included Jonathan Rhys Meyers (“Elvis,” “The Tudors,” “Stonewall”)
Dougray Scott (“Mission Impossible II,” “Hemlock Grove” and the upcoming TV series “Snatch”), Claire Forlani (“Meet Joe Black,” “Mall Rats,” “Mystery Men”), Daniel Huttlestone (“Into the Woods,” “Les Miserables,” and “London Town”), as well as other cast members from the film.
