Award winning actress, Jaimie Alexander attended the NBCUniversal Winter TCA’s to promote the upcoming season of her drama series “Blindspot.” Jaimie is best known for her roles in the 2011 and 2013 Thor movies as well as her appearances in popular TV series “Nurse Jackie”, and “CSI Miami” to name a few.During the TCA’s, Jaimie donned a bright pink Christian Siriano dress and wore her hair high in a sophisticated updo, styled by lead stylist from Cie Sparks Salon, Michael Sparks.

“Dirty hair is best to achieve Jamie’s hairstyle. I first applied Paul Mitchell’s ‘Strong Hold’ hairspray to the length of her hair to provide maximum control and hold, and Paul Mitchell’s ‘Sculpting Foam’ mousse to add texture and control frizz. I then blow-dried Jaimie’s hair to create height. Next, I then added Evo’s ‘Styling Powder’ for added texture and grit. The next step is to add in clip-in extensions to the nap of the neck and then curl the extensions and throw the hair into a loose bun to add dimension and extra height.

The last steps involved back-combing pieces of hair around her face to create fullness and then adding hair pins for added hold to achieve the final result. Spray some more hairspray and pick out the flyaway’s to create softness. After picking out the flyaway’s, I sprayed Paul Mitchell’s ‘Shine Spray’, a lightweight mist that leaves hair silky and soft- red carpet ready.”
