Here are some fun tidbits about this year’s Simply LA:
This is the 7th year CEO, and Founder Sarah Boyd has produced SIMPLY LA.
Kat Graham spoke of her new upcoming projects coming out on Netflix, but she spoke of her new Sunglass line called Foster Grant. The line is inspired by the 90’s and the idea of “ eye can see you, and Ii can feel you”- she is inspired by Cindy Crawford, Madonna, Grace Jones, and this is what she started. She feels that she makes her outfits out of what sunglasses she puts on first. He favorite outfits are a vintage T, simple jeans, and funky glasses.
Kat Graham was once in the original Parent Trap, and was asked about Lindsey Lohan. She was asked what does she think of how she has been. Kat laughed and said this is the second time someone has asked me about this. She laughed and said – “ I hope people get through their barrier and I wish her the best of luck. I just hope she is living her best life.”
Lo Bosworth is the founder and CEO of Love Wellness a women’s wellness company with the mission of providing women with the total body health and meaningful wellness solutions through honest. Natural, and doctor- recommended products and education. Lo spoke on the Create Your Voice and Make An Impact panel with Stephanie Shepherd, Jeannie Mai, and more. She spoke of how reality TV was difficult adjusting to in her early 20’s and how it affected her relationships. She said it brought there to a dark place, and it really took herself to find her inner peace, and know what she wanted in life to find herself. She then said with knowing this, she trained herself with positivity and mental wellness techniques thus allowing her to be happy.
Stephanie Shepherd said she is now working with J Brand jeans, and thanks Kim and her family for teaching her to have goals and feeling ok with finding herself. She said that being true to herself these days has allowed her to find real happiness.
Jeannie Mai was supposed to speak on a morning panel and was stuck at JFK, but after a long plane ride still managed to come to SIMPLY at the end of the day and speak to her new show she is doing with her mother called Mai Oh My. It is a fun reality show with her and her mother.
